2010 HIGHLIGHTS OF 2010 CHIPROM CHILDREN’S CAMP
HIGHLIGHTS OF 2010 CHIPROM CHILDREN’S CAMP – Aug 16-20, 2010 – The four day event was well attended by many children from different homes and orphanages including children from some churches (Sinai Baptist Church, His Heritage Home, Kings Kids, Nazereth Foundation, Professionals from different fields spoke to the children on wide range of social and medical Issues. Nigerian artiste played a role in the success of the camp. Femi Adebayo sent his acting group to perform on Tuesday while Toyin Aimakhu, Nigeria’s 2010 actress of the year showed up on Thursday with gift for CHIPROM. She spent considerable amount of time at the camp, advising the children, socializing and held dancing competition. Toyin handed out gifts that was donated by INDOMIE. On Thursday, INDOMIE distributed gifts, cooked and supplied lunch to all the children in attendance. Throughout the event children played table tennis, different table and board games, and swimming. The swimming event drew so many children to the erected 4000 litres swimming pool. The event was sponsored by MTN Nigeria, Dorvict Resource & Consulting Centre Inc. Canada, Grace Assembly Church, Lagos, and INDOMIE, Nigeria. We thank all our sponsors, event Coordinators, the medical team led by Dr. Adaora Obiagwu from University College Hospital, Ibadan, CHIPROM management and front line staff’s, International and local volunteers.
